PSALMS FROM ME
There was no world
It came from a word
A voice from above
After man's naivety, he said there will be an end
And the voice was God
He is all powerful
So He made man fallible
And said you must be able
To see what is sinful
And be faithful
He gave man all
And said don't fall
To enable you be at heavens door
So be careful how you walk
For i will judge you from the law
After creating man in his own image
He provided a mate
And said you two must coordinate
And also worship in faith
So i say, this Man is Great
There was a revelation
And He said man should give it recognition
So not to see retrogression
Abide by my laws and there will be jubilation
And escape yourself from divine retribution
I will close not my mouth
But I’ll praise him from north to south
And will continue to bow
With my knees and head down
I praise him aloud
Please God listen to my supplication
Let my enemies see my elevation
In your children i want an inclusion
For my problems, i come to you for solution
And my house will always give an ovation
I have been acquainted with the truth
Abiding by it gave me a life of smooth
And also saved me from a life of rude
Almighty deserves much exaltation which i should
So to all, seek refuge from God and save yourselves from doom
There be a Man
Who created everything under the sun?
And brought to the world sons
He asked of us charity and alms
Not to concentrate on worldly things and cars
I asked for celebrity and he added nobility
I sought for forgiveness, and he added liberty
My fulfilling life came from the almighty
After respect, he conferred dignity
Oh! yee people, He is a God of serendipity
Come oh yee world, let’s give thanks
To the God who filled our accounts in the banks
Praise Him and you'll never see setbacks
Exalt him with all the drums
And don't forget the claps
Be merciful on me
For your blessings i receive
For your holy book i will submerge myself in
Before you i will always come clean
For with you i know I’m free
From morning to evening I’ll pray
And call your name each day
I'll proclaim to your people your grace
For out of it i was saved
And your name I’ll proclaim
There were days of bitterness
Upon all my services
There was no fairness
In his time i received blessings
And it came to me in abundance
Oh! yee people of disbelievers
Come to him who delivers
And fall into his flavors
Come and receive happiness
And also save yourself as sinners
To those who starve in the month of fast
Believe in your hearts
That He God will act
And give you in abundance for it to last
For His words are the truth and facts
Believe not these gods
For they shall be punish with rods
Listen to them not, for they are satanic lords
And through them you shall be lost
For the Almighty has an open arm for all
They are cunning
So keep on running
For souls they are starving
Come to Him who dislikes lying
For with Him, your enemies will see you shining
Praise unto Him who created
Peace be unto His prophet
The devil came with a hatchet
To destroy and kill as expected
But with the Lord we are all protected
He is a Lord of no anger
Who feeds us till supper
Thanks to Him the Father
Like a shepherded who looks after
