A PLEA TO DESTINY

Destiny, how I wish I could control

I sometimes enjoy it till it fizzles

After all the help, why do you condone?

I do agree you often confer me little

For a better life I propose

I try to control you, therefore in life I wrestle

May be you want me to suffer for it, I suppose

All the dangerous labor I did at my own peril

Oh destiny I have had enough dose

Please allow me to settle

For I have had enough woes

Save me from the prattle

I need a change to please my soul

Man is tired of this battle

The thought of it makes my heart go cold

Push me to riches and save me from the hustle
