Why, are we not bold?
To cut the sod for success
People have made it on their own`
And now have excess
We all desire to have a nice home
Nothing can stop us if we all make the efforts
We may toil for days
We may labor for decades
We may commence on a low pace
But I tell you, you will surely make it
For we can all make it

We see them in nice clothes
We see them in luxury and comfort
We perceive they have no problem
They have gone through all the troubles
They have voyaged through the thorns
Perseverance was sometimes the norm
They managed to overcome all the obstacles
They never quit when they face predicaments
Let’s continue to fight and never to retire
But I tell you, you will surely make it
For we can all make it

Today my mind is made up
All my woes are at my back
I want to stand tall
I want to stand high
It’s my turn, I will end it all
They have made it in life
Why not me
For failure, I will never pay heed
For all my wounds I will heal
I will labor for my own meal
And not to cheat and steal
I know it will be a difficult task
But I tell you, you will surely make it
For we can all make it
